The inlock® fasteners is an effective means of anchoring a thread stud into a tube. The method employed for assembly is to screw two or more inlocks on to a stud and then to press this assembly into the tube leaving a threaded portion protruding. The number of inlocks used is dependant upon the load requirements, but a minimum of two, suitably spaced, must be used to align the stud with the bore of the tube. All dimensions shown are subject to engineering tolerances. These fasteners can be supplied in blue and varnish BV or in mechanical zinc plated finishes. Starlocks® are generally available in spring steel and many are also supplied in stainless steel. Non-standard parts may be subject to a minimum order quantity We can develop any inlock® to suit any thread size & Outer Diameter, these will be subject to minimum order quantities.
Inlock Fasteners   “Inlock Push In Fasteners work the opposite way around to the standard Starlock Push on Fastener. Instead of being designed to fit over a shaft they are instead designed to be pushed into a tube, their legs gripping on the outside of the component rather than the inside. This type of Fastener is extremely useful in applications that require assembly of different tubes. Inlock Push on Fasteners can also be customised to not only have the exterior Inlock feature, but also the interior Starlock feature, and also allow for threaded bars to be inserted.”
